1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting a contact or estimate request, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use this website or our services.
2. Our Services
BFR — Waterproofing & Masonry provides basement waterproofing, foundation repair, masonry, and drainage services across Toronto and the GTA. This website provides information about our services and lets you request a free estimate — it is not a booking or e-commerce platform, and no work is scheduled or contracted through form submission alone. Scope of work and final pricing are confirmed in writing following a free, no-obligation on-site assessment.
3. Estimates & Pricing
All estimates provided through this website or by phone are free and non-binding until confirmed in writing after an on-site assessment. Every basement and foundation is different, so we do not publish general price ranges — the exact cost of your project is provided as part of your written estimate.
4. Scheduling & Payment
Scheduling and payment terms for your specific project will be set out in your written estimate and confirmed with you directly before work begins.
5. Warranty
Applicable work is covered by BFR's standard 20-year transferable warranty, the specific terms of which are provided in writing at the completion of your job. Please retain your warranty documentation for your records.
6. Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment or project, please contact us directly as soon as possible so we can accommodate the change.
7. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing safe and reasonable access to the work area
- Disclosing any known property conditions relevant to the assessment or work (e.g. prior repairs, existing warranties from other contractors)
- Obtaining any permits that are not explicitly stated as being handled by BFR as part of your estimate
8. Limitation of Liability
BFR performs all work using our own licensed, insured crew. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the remedy available under the applicable warranty for that work. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions not reasonably identifiable at the time of assessment, or for delays caused by weather, permitting, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. Licensing & Insurance
BFR — Waterproofing & Masonry is WSIB-compliant, licensed, and insured. License No. T85-55A7339 · Trade No. B28141. Proof of current insurance is available on request.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of our website or services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
