Overview
Weeping tile is a perforated 4-inch pipe installed along the foundation footing to collect groundwater before it can build up pressure against the foundation wall. BFR wraps every run in a nylon sock sleeve, which filters out soil and silt while still letting water flow freely into the pipe — keeping the perforations from clogging over time.
Once collected, the water travels through the weeping tile to a sump pit or storm connection, giving groundwater a controlled path away from the foundation instead of pooling against it. It's installed alongside exterior membrane and drainage board systems, or on its own during an interior weeping tile installation.
